Moreton's Hotel as it is known today was first licensed in late 1915 under the name of the New Hunter River Inn, built in 1840. Moreton's is named after the famous Moreton Bay Fig Tree that shades our extensive multi-purpose beer garden which caters for all types of functions and parties.
Moreton's has a variety of function rooms all with their own character and style. Getting here is never a problem with plenty of parking seven days a week, and buses, trains and taxis only metres away. Enjoy your function in the comfort of airconditioning to combat the elements.

The Top Bar (entrance via Kent Street)
The upmarket top bar caters for all type of functions/occasions, from 80 people to 250 people. The bar has its own fully equipped sound system. Pool tables, polished floorboards, ambient lighting, airconditioning and separate entrances.

Courtyard (entrance via Sussex Street)
This is Moreton's most sought after position available for hire Saturday -Thursdays. This fabulous space is great to catch the sun or to enjoy the al fresco atmosphere. The courtyard has now a great new roof, which protects you from the elements. This can cater for all types of functions/occasions.

DEPOSIT $250.00
The courtyard is an ideal place for lunch and dinner, 7 days.
The courtyard has a protective sail to protect you from all elements of the weather, thus also allowing you to enjoy the fresh outdoor atmosphere.

Middle Bar
Moreton's private and exclusive lounge bar. Beautifully furnished with several lounges to accommodate a comfortable crowd of 60 to 80 people.The Middle Bar is sure to attract your attention with its relaxed comfortable atmosphere. All manner of parties can be hosted in this latest addition to Moreton's Hotel. This bar is equipped with its own bar and music facilities.
ROOM HIRE: $350.00
DEPOSIT: $200.00
Drink Packages
We can provide drink packages for $40.00 per person for three hours, which include beer, wine, champagne, soft drink and juices unlimited or $50.00 for four hours.
Deposit
The deposit is fully refundable after the room inspection.
Cancellation
We hope this doesn't happen; however circumstances change. We shall refund the full amount three weeks prior to the function. Less than three weeks, no refund.
Confirmation
To secure your booking, your deposit must be paid in full to confirm the booking.
Payment
The balance of the account must be finalised on the night of the function by either cash, credit card or bank cheque.
Other Services
DJs $60.00 an hour, Security Staff $35.00 an hour, sound equipment $100.00 hire and $500.00 deposit, additional waiters $25.00 an hour, and flowers to suit your budget.
